Anglicare have an opportunity for an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to work as part of the wider ICT team, supporting the organisation through the efficient management of Anglicare’s infrastructure and projects.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the Cloud Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality support for Anglicare’s Cloud infrastructure. This role is key to delivering Anglicare’s technology strategy moving forward. The Cloud engineer is key to delivering IT operations Cloud services and essential in evaluating new technology to build future capability.

The ideal candidate will have self-reliance, a drive to learn, and the ability to find innovative solutions to problems, build strong working relationships, understand business requirements and process as they relate to the Cloud.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Contribute to implementation and support of Public Cloud Solutions and Microsoft Azure
  • Installation and manage changes to virtual servers, cloud infrastructure, cloud network.
  • Provide end-to-end delivery of cloud-based projects in Public Cloud migration, tenancy design and deployment and Project Delivery.
  • Respond to and resolve customer Incidents and service requests within formally agreed service levels.
  • Analysis and reporting is carried out for major incidents – provide recommendations to ensure elimination of potential recurring problems Reporting of technical documentation.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvements plans
  • Ensure all assigned service tickets are updated in line with agreed timeframes, and that the customer is kept informed of resolution progress

About You;

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an IT service or support environment
  • IT degree or technical certification or relevant industry experience
  • Ability to support Azure Infrastructure Environment and its dependent components (virtual machines, network, security, backups and restores, disaster recovery, and monitoring)
  • Ability to support SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online environment
  • Azure Intune environment
  • Office 365 suite
  • Solid experience working with Azure Active Directory and B2B/External Identities and B2C Custom Policies

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have sound understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, certification advantageous.
  • Thrive on solving problems and the process of continuous improvement.
  • Have demonstrated initiative and holistic approach IT management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities with strict time-dependent deliverables.
  • Sound knowledge of customer relations and management.
